After months of speculation Zink and guessing The Venice Zero Ink Printing Projects Finally gets its name – Joost

When the Venice Project was finally unveiled, the betting game started. What were Friis & Zennstrom going to call there new IPTV project.
On one side of the room we had some people guessing that The Venice Project would stay The Venice Project. Most of us , needles to say, disagreed. We assumed that there was no chance that a project of this size and potential, would stay with such a geeky non catchy name.
Then someone pointed out that an abbreviation of The Venice Project is TVP or TV Project and then I became a believer. It definitely explained why they kept calling it “The Venice Project”, the “The” being part of the official name.
But Friis and Zennstrom have kept true to their style and came out with a new catchy slick name. Joost.
Or as the official Joost site says:
Yesterday, we were The Venice Project™. Today, we're Joost™. Tomorrow, we're yours! Imagine having infinite choice, and TV that is truly interactive. TV anywhere, anytime...
This is the year. Joost™ is coming.
I definitely agree with that one.
So, round one is over and The Venice Project is no more. Now Joost will be the new hot word of the month, and IP TV will never be the same, we can move on to the next round - which official TV Station will be the first to be Joost??
